Shopping went well this week. Kroger had some sales that coincided with a few coupons I had. I like it when that happens. Instead of taking pictures according to where the items are purchased, I’m now going to group them by what will be used to make this weeks menu and what is going into the pantry for future meals. I had an email asking how to build up your pantry and thought this would help a little.

October looks good. I came in under my $50 goal. I’m sure November will be much harder with Thanksgiving. The good thing is I have a freezer full of meat, I probably can get through the month without having to buy much, meat wise.
How is everyone else going to fit Thanksgiving into their budget?

I’ve been trying to stay within $50 a week. Since I didn’t have a pantry setup before our firings it’s been difficult.
Congratulations! You definitely spent well!
